Community Guidelines
Mixer is for respectful, consent-based event introductions. Treat every match as an invitation to ask—not permission to demand attention, contact information, or an in-person meeting.
Do
- Be honest about who you are and why you are attending.
- Keep messages relevant, respectful, and appropriate for the event.
- Accept a no, decline, unmatch, or lack of response immediately.
- Meet in organizer-designated public zones and respect venue rules.
- Use mute, unmatch, block, and report when you need them.
Do not
- Harass, threaten, stalk, shame, discriminate against, or sexually pressure anyone.
- Impersonate people or organizations, scam, spam, recruit deceptively, or repeatedly send the same message.
- Share another attendee’s profile, messages, or contact details without permission.
- Attempt to evade a block, report, event removal, or service limit.
- Use Mixer for unlawful conduct, exploitation, or content involving minors in an unsafe or sexual context.
Reporting
Reports are private. You may attach specific messages as evidence; organizers receive limited workflow information rather than a general view of private conversations. Blocking immediately stops the reported connection from interacting with you in that event. Mixer may preserve a limited safety record and restrict accounts when appropriate.
Mixer is not an emergency service. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or venue security.
